Hi all! My name is Marcie, I am a Trainee ANP in the Acute Surgical Team at University Hospital! What a mouthful! I have been in post for nearly a year now, and prior to this worked in the General ICU and Cardiac HDU areas. I am excited to be starting the course, and looking forward to being able to cover the content online and not in a fixed lecture hall!
I work with some fully qualified ANPs who clerk acute surgical patients, make treatment plans, and prescribe etc, I look forward to being able to do this also, although I am nervous to start the prescribing module.
