    Hello

I am finding the drug bank online very useful to find out information.

I am struggling with the BNF as I am finding this very confusing at times.

Does anyone have any handy tips or hints for the use of the BNF please?

I am personally struggling with the pharmacodynamics and answering the set questions and defining each stage for the mode of actions – I shave been over the module twice but just don’t seem to be grasping the concepts!!

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Claire

    Hi John

I think you can ask for your tutor to read your answers and give you some feedback, I think this is what I am going to do as I have found this module very difficult so would like to know if my answers have been sufficient and correct !!

My brain is hurting with these 2 modules – they are very difficult.

    Thanks

    Claire 🙂

Hi Trudy – Sorry I am not able to help with this as mine is funded through an apprenticeship scheme. Claire

    Good Evening All

My name is Claire and I have been a qualified adult nurse for 22 years.  My current role is an Apheresis Specialist Nurse working for NHS Blood and Transplant, I am based at The Christie in Manchester – with this role I manage adults and paediatric patients. The main specialties are haematology, renal, neuro and cardio thoracic (pre&post transplant).

Prior to this role I have worked in acute trusts in many different roles.

I am very excited to be starting as this is the first module for my MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice – however equally apprehensive as not completed study for many years.

Really looking forward to meeting everyone 🤗

    See you soon
